The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

It is hoped that the Late Pick 5 that begins racing week in Hallandale will yield a single to start the sequence in the day’s fourth race.

If Thoro Graph figures are a measure, Cashier Check (5-2) has been a paragon of consistency. There is a faster three-year-old filly in here but she is coming back on short rest and a regression looks likely.

The filly chased the pace throughout, was used taking command into the stretch and held stubbornly but fell short by a neck. She did everything right but win.

That Gulfstream two turner on MAR 31, Race 6, already has produced a winner from one starter. Check out her run. She’s proven on the Tapeta, unusual for Midnight Storm offspring.

Jaramillo Emisael, who wins at a 28% clip for Victor Barboza and is an ace on the synthetic.

Taking Cashier Check to win at 2-1 or greater and a quinella with Blackayla (6-1), first time off the Gustavo Delgado claim.
