You can’t hold a grudge in this game. On behalf of my “Worst Stinkin’ Bet of the Day,” 3-Senior Investment, asking your forgiveness for the poor showing on 12 October and 14 December. Some might say that if you are going to make an investment on a horse that is a senior, you better make sure that the horse is sound. For the most part, once they find their way to Parx, they are all “seniors” in my eyes, irrespective of their age. Three major factors will assist in an improvement today: (1) male rider (yes, I’m a sexist pig); (2) fast track; (3) 2nd back off 2-month vacation. It is my belief that these horses desperately try their best each time they compete, and 3-Senior Investment’s best will beat these today. Doubt you will get close to the morning line assessment. Scott Lake, a tricky fellow, to put it politely, puts him in for the tag, but it takes more than that to scare Big Ted. Worth a double play with the 8th (figures below).
