The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

By Kentucky Downs Staff — Kentucky Downs has rescheduled the two stakes canceled after inclement weather forced the last four races to be called off Saturday.

The $1 million WinStar Mint Million (G3) now will be this coming Saturday, Sept. 10; while the $500,000 Kentucky Downs Juvenile Mile will be on Wednesday, Sept. 14 (closing day). Nominations have reopened for both stakes and will close TOMORROW, Sunday, Sept. 4. All horses previously nominated will automatically be renominated. Entries for Sept. 10 is Monday, Labor Day.

No decision has been made on Sunday’s schedule card. Updates will be provided on Kentucky Downs social media outlets as they become available.
