The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

HRI Edited Release – Fanny Olsson admits she was hoping to ride “one or two, here and there,” during Gulfstream Park’s Championship Meet. But at one of the toughest meets in the country, Olsson’s business has picked up significantly.

On Thursday’s card, Olsson was named on three mounts, and she has mounts Friday and Saturday as well.

In the latest edition of Blew’s Clues, hosted by Gulfstream host and analyst Jason Blewitt, Olsson, a native of Sweden who rode in her native country as well as Norway and Denmark, discusses her decision to come to the U.S., the difference in riding styles, and her third-place finish aboard first-time starter Nikki and Papa in the Forward Gal (G3).
