GOING GULFSTREAM – AUG 7

The Sunday feature in Hallandale is a well matched lineup of All Weather specialists and as the saying goes if it weren’t for bad luck last time, Cashier Check (3-1) would have had no luck at all.

Three year old ridgling was sloughed badly leaving the gate, virtually losing any chance. Further, it was his first run off a 72-day layup. Check out that effort on July 9, Race 9.

Today’s trip suits this guy, Barboza’s often improve with a race under the belt and Miguel Vasquez id a perfect fit for this three-year-old’s style.

Taking Cashier Check to win, no price restrictions, and quinellas with Merlin (5-2) and Eyes of Champion (8-1).
