TAKING MOCK STOCK

By Marc Lawrence — 247 Sports is mocking out the 2021 NL Draft and projecting first-round landing spots for Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, Ohio State’s Justin Fields, Oregon’s Penei Sewell and more. They’ve drawn up a draft order based on the latest projected win totals, from worst to best, for every NFL team. This draft does not mock out possible draft-day trades. This is a no-trades draft. So which team will win the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes? What other names will be called at the 2021 NFL Draft, scheduled to be held in Cleveland? Here’s one projection: 2020 overall No. 1 pick Joe Burrow brings juice to Cincinnati, but not many more wins, as the team that went 2-14 in 2019 again finishes near the bottom of the NFL pile. The Cincinnati Bengals use their premium draft pick at No. 2 to acquire Joe Burrow added protection in the form of the top offensive tackle on the board, Sewell, and Burrow says thanks. Read the entire first round projection here.
