While fastest on figures, his early speed hurts him here as there’s speed signed on inside. Further, he’s going six furlongs for the first time.
Bourbon Rebellion (3-1) is one that can come from off the pace and has more than enough conditioning, making a mini-turnback from 6-1/2 furlongs.
Eion Harty trainee mid-moved to victory in his last and the presence of speed at a shorter trip should allow him to make a successful late run–if he’s fast enough to catch the speed. One run could be the key.
