The Sunday feature in Hallandale is optional allowances for juvenile fillies going 5-1/2 furlongs and without question, Hot Rod Honey 8-5e is a deserving, worthy favorite.
She’s fastest on performance figures, drops following a troubled effort in a Florida-bred stakes while turning back to her winning distance for live connections.
But we’ll opt for value with Columbina 6-1. Two back she was narrowly beaten at the stakes level at this trip. Antonio Sano and Sammy Camacho have doing good work together in recent days.
Taking Columbina to win at 9-2 or greater and an exacta box with the favorite.
