GOING GULFSTREAM – JULY 15

Interesting feature in Hallandale today–fillies and mares going 1 mile 70 yards on Tapeta Track in the eighth event–that pits two Saffie Joseph trainees vs. a air from Rohan Crichton. What to do?

When in doubt, value is always the best play and there are reasons why Thataint Tooshabby (6-1) has an excellent chance to pull a minor upset.

Dialed In 4-year-old has a win and a second since the switch to Crichton and since surface switching to the All-Weather.

She was narrowly defeated by Saffie’s Midnight Bella last out following a premature move [see GP Race 8, JUN 11].

Today she’s pole sitting, owns a best of 11 peers work the week of JUL 11, and gets the Edwin Gonzalez in the boot.

The recent improvement should continue on her return with good spacing, she gets a couple of pounds in weight, and at least you’re getting paid to test these theories.

Taking Thataint Tooshabby to win at 5-1 or greater and key-boxing exotics with stablemate Empress Ellie (3-1) and the Joseph team of dropdown Transient (5-2) and the streaking Midnight Bella (9-2).
