REGRESSIONS ARE MEAN

By Marc Lawrence, PLAYBOOKSPORTS.COM — The Miami Dolphins fell prey to an inevitable ”regression to the mean” when Buffalo spanked them, 48-20, yesterday. A dilemma I faced in handicapping the game is that my Well Oiled Machine ordered up a play on the Fish that was a powerful fade against the Bills, one that had gone 45-15 ATS. I opted for Miami as they were looking to avenge a playoff loss at Buffalo last season. The bottom line is ”regression to the mean” is a mean SOB. Lesson learned.
