By Marc Lawrence, PlaybookSports.com — The NBA playoffs have a blowout problem. Call them walkover wins.
With Wednesday’s 13-point win by Boston over Miami, it’s now 16 straight playoff games that have been decided by 6 or more points, with a dozen by double-digits and the average margin a whopping 18 points per game.
The 2015-16 playoffs hold the all-time record for highest proportion of games decided by 25-plus points (23%). This postseason is trending in the same direction.
