ARE BILLS FANS PANICKING?

By Marc Lawrence, PlaybookSports.com — Is it time to panic about Josh Allen? Does he looks like a shell of himself this season? That’s a fair question, for sure. While Allen sports a 100.7 QB Rating (5th best in the league), he averaged his longest time to throw in a game this season (3.26 sec) against New England last week and struggled when forced to hold onto the ball (10/24, 130 yards, INT over 2.5 sec). Allen completed every one of his quick passes on the day (17/17 for 135 yards & 2 TDs). But he’s only as good as the support he gets. In their three losses, they’re averaging just 69 rushing yards per game. In their four victories, that figure more than doubles to 145.8. Keep an eye on their ground game. As it improves, so too will Allen’s performance.
