The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

After blowing out Indiana to secure the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs, the Washington Wizards finished the regular season 34-38.

ESPN Stats & Info reports that teams finished below .500 in the regular season have lost 30 straight postseason series.

The last win came in the 1987 Western Conference Semifinals when the Seattle SuperSonics beat the Houston Rockets.
