Whether the angle was successful or not, we will try again to get an Eoin Harty runner home stretching into t route coming off two sprints. And the early price on Groveland (12-1) is inflated in out view.
Groveland is nowhere close to the fastest Thoro-Graph figures in this field but in pairing up and getting a race over the course, a froward move is expected here.
And we liked the way he finished up, starting to sprint home quickly in deep stretch as if he needed to get his feet under him, that and more ground. He gets that here and has a two-sided long pedigree.
Check out the HRI homepage video section Tampa Bay Downs, DEC 3, Race 2.
He’s had two works since his last, the first coming 10 days after his race, coming back again with a sharper half mile than the one preceding it. Jesus Castanon takes the re-ride and, as stated, the price will be fair.
Taking Groveland to win at 8-1 or greater and key-boxing exactas with strong-finish third Spinzar (8-1) on sprint debut with good subsequent works for Shug McGaughey, and Carcano (3-1) with Daniel Centeno, coming off a series of quickly run Kentucky sprints.

Same to you and yours, Rick. BTW: a great ride and finish by Castanon, who can still do it …
