Hoping today’s fourth race remains on turf, our preferred Tampa surface. The forecast is for fair skies as it was for Monday’s program but despite the fact that the sun was shining, the races were rescheduled after running one.
Hoping all is well with the course today because this mid-range maiden claimer offers a potential for value with third-tine starter Passionfortreasure (5-1) who’s making a class rise despite a recent defeat at a lower level.
But we like the sign of confidence from the barn she showed much improved speed in her second start–perhaps a little too keen following a pace duel. She paid for those efforts late as the winner ran right by but she maintained daylight on the show finisher.
Brenda McCarthy stays efficient when she raises her horse in class, Scott Spieth takes the re-ride and the filly should be more settled in start three. She has upside potential on this surface and a repeat of her last should do here.

For a mere four dimes more which will upset maybe a few, adding Sunnymere into the I-Man SF mix for 3rd and 4th with your pole position kisses. Going with the old Irish saying in this go. There are but three things to have in plenty, Sunshine, Wisdom, and Generosity. For the cost of forty cents I’ll add some sunshine to todays FRA. Riders Up.
