GOING GULFSTREAM-MAR 25

As the HRI Faithful know, turf sprints are always difficult puzzles to solve and at Gulfstream Saturday, the Melody of Colors is no exception.

There’s no shortage of speed signed on, including some with little or no turf experience. Preferring experience, our top three contenders are Sassy Nature (7-2), My Sweet Affair (5-1) and Just A Care (9-2).

Sassy Nature impressed speed and trip handicappers, making a winning turf debut in South Florida last out with style and in fast time. She worked sharply for this at her Palm Meadows base and is likely to sit behind sharp Parx shipper Flor de Sombra (8-1).

Just a Care overcame a wide trip to win her GP debut at this trip and worked crisply twice at her Palm Beach training center base. Rusty Arnold gives the call to Paco Lopez and they rate to rally late in here.

My Sweet Affair stalked the pace from a wide post in her debut here March 3, drawing out late and earning an excellent figure with a sharp turn of foot in midstretch.

With the George Weaver filly breaking outside of the other two, Emisael Jaramillo will be able to play it off the break and position his filly where she’s most comfortable.

Taking My Sweet Affair to win at 3-1 or greater and a three-horse exacta box.
