The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

GOING GULFSTREAM – SEP 1

It’s no new flash when a horse walks into Jose D’Angelo’s barn that improvement most often is a given. Such is the case again with Call Me Spicy (2-1) in the featured seventh in Hallandale.

Today’s mini-turnback is no deterrent since the daughter of Speightster has found her niche sprinting on the turf given her (4) 2-2-0 slate.

She exits a race in which a rival came back to win next out, she worked a bullet for her return but most important earned the top performance figure on the Thoro-Graph scale. Well posted, she retain Zayas.

There is, however, a filly that intrigues at a price One of One (12-1) as she finally gets back to doing what she does best, too, sprinting on Tapeta Track, owning the figures to prove it.

Further, David Braddy gets good grades when dropping into an open claimer, is a profitable 19% going dirt to AW and reaches out for Edgar Perez.

It’s unusual but we will bet Call Me Spicy to win, no price restrictions, make a saver win wager on One of One and will box these two. Also, making an exacta and trifecta wheel of these two in all positions, adding Face the Music (4-1) second and third.
