Playing Gulfstream’s Mandatory Rainbow 6 Sunday; Pool Expected to Top $6 Million

            HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – With Sunday’s 20-cent Rainbow 6 pool expected to top $6 million with a mandatory payout, Gulfstream Park hosts and analysts Jason Blewitt, Acacia Courtney and Ron Nicoletti take a deep dive into Sunday’s sequence.

            First race post Sunday is 12:55 p.m. The first leg of the Rainbow 6 will be Race 6.

            The Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 6-11, including optional claiming allowances in Races 6, 8, 9 and 10, as well as a mile maiden special weight race on turf that drew a full field in Race 11.

            Nicoletti is going with a $162 ticket with only two horses in Race 10 (Cariba and Bering Strait). Courtney’s ticket comes in at $144. She decides to use only two horses in Race 7 (Brooke All Mine and Put Position) and and Race 9 (Blakey and Yes I See). Blewitt is playing a $115.20 ticket using four horses in Races 8 and 10 and going with just Trappezoid and Blakey in Race 9
