Jim Harbaugh should be embarrassed. Michigan’s $7.5 million-a-year coach’s squad came within a missed field goal at the final buzzer of regulation to losing to Army – in the Big House. The two-star recruits who showed up at the Big House in their camouflage fatigues played Harbaugh’s four-and-five-star guys even for 60 minutes. Harbaugh came within one play a missed 50-yard field goal of losing to Army. The Wolverines have no discipline, too, as evidenced by their three fumbles and countless penalties… If Maryland’s Mike Locksley keeps this up, he’s going to ruin his reputation. Following last week’s 63-20 smashing of Syracuse, Orange coach Dino Babers commented, “This is definitely humble pie. I don’t know what it tastes like, but it probably tastes exactly the way I feel right now.”
