ALL ABOARD THE ‘A’ TRAIN

By Marc Lawrence, PlaybookSports.com — Last year’s National League Cy Young award winner Sandy Alcantara has suffered the next year jinx this season, going 4-9 overall, including 8-14 in team starts.

However, he has rounded back into solid current form bringing a 2.45 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP in his last seven starts into today’s game at Texas, with 29 Ks and 5 BBs in his last five efforts.

With Rangers hurler Andrew Heaney sporting a 5.14 ERA with a 1.31 WHIP in his last seven starts, there is only one way to look here today. All aboard!
