  1. Thanks for all the passion and effort you put into all of this this John. I am surprised that there are no comments on today’s X/C on the main page. I am sad to see Arlington close today. We saw some great races there over the years.

I am betting with yesterday’s 3-1 FRA payout on your Raging Bull call today. Great Movie by the way.

Riders up for the last dance at Arlington. Sad is all.

  2. I wagered on Speaker’s Corner early on in the Future’s Pool and once again today in the Sar 8th. I don’t think we have seen the last of this one. His closing moved was powerful. With Bill Mott he is in good hands making the turn for the fall championships. Horse to watch is all.

    1. He was impressive indeed. I remembered his baby race and bet a few dollars myself; 1:22 1/5 is moving right along and he certainly appeared to get stronger the further he ran. HTW for sure.

  3. Well, there is some hope for AP, McD. Two potential investors have shown interest, one with big plans–a destination type location. Believe one group talked that the Bears (Cubs?) might move next store, so we’ll see. Happy that the big move is named for Mr. Duchossois, but very sorry that the Million appears to be no more.
